Data Update
Clients in Australia will be noticing their data loading in. This data will be a merger between the American and Australian data (both past and present). Replication may briefly force a user to log out. This replication is prioritized for Oceania clients during off-hours.

StaffConnect’s Oceania server completed automated replication to a degree and was turned on. Users were routed to their Australian environment which was not displaying the most accurate data.

StaffConnect’s Oceania server completed resizing and a replication process was undertaken to catch the Oceania server up to the American server.

Initial Investigation
StaffConnect was notified of data not displaying from July onwards. Upon initial investigation our Oceania server reached capacity and failed to retain data writes. All information writes from July onwards were routed to the American server. Oceania server was taken offline to undergo a resizing.

Mailbox redirection
StaffConnect has routed all email activities to an alternative mail server to prevent being added to a blocked sender list for auxiliary email domains such as iCloud and Gmail while we await Microsoft action.

Resolution Phase
StaffConnect contacted Microsoft support to remove email servers from their blocked sender list. This occurs when high volumes of emails are sent in one go with a large degree of recipients marking the sender as spam. This directly impacts the reputation and health of the email server, not the sender domain.

Implications of replication
Due to Oceania’s outage there is a significant amount of data that is required to be replicated between servers. This volume is causing the servers to fail and then automatically restart resulting in forced user logouts.

It was noted that the Oceania web server data state was no longer synchronized with the American server and was taken offline to undergo a resize. During this time all users were routed to our American server, dramatically increasing traffic, and load times.

Yes! StaffConnect allows you to create custom presentations and cards. You can send your clients a link to these and they will be able to see a grid of all your models (presentation) and can click on a model to view more details and media on the model’s card.
Yes! You have the ability to completely replace the StaffConnect name and logo wherever you see it.
No. The only “techy” thing required is to set up SPF records on your domain to allow StaffConnect to send email on your behalf. Don’t worry, we have guides to walk you through this or we can do it for you.
After a demo call we can create your trial system within 24hrs. It usually takes between 2 days - 2 weeks to get your apps published on the app stores. For importing existing databases our tech team can usually get it done within 2 days of receiving your data.
The free trial lasts for 30 days. The trial system includes all the features of the paid system minus your logo and branding, SMS ability or presentation and card customizations.
There are multiple ways to track COVID compliance. We would suggest adding custom fields to your user profiles asking for their vaccination status, date of last test and test results. We also have a COVID health questionnaire you can customize and enable to have staff complete online the day of their event.
